Academic Advising

访问中心 provides advising for undergraduate students majoring 在人类学, Behavioral 科学, and Organizational Studies. 访问 ACCESS for General 教育 (GE) advising, answers to questions about academic policy, probation and disqualification advising, and academic advice.

Major and 小 Advising

A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for all of our undergraduate majors (see major requirements [doc]). To seek major advising for Anthropology, Behavioral 科学, or Organizational Studies, complete and bring in Progress-to-Degree Tracker (尖刺外壳(doc), 本·[医生], 组织(doc)) and a hard copy of your unofficial trascripts. 查看我们的 2022年春季 advising hours.

How to apply for our major and minor degree programs

1. Fill out and print a Change of Major form.
   • Change of Major/小 Form for students with less than 90 units [pdf]
   • Change of Major/小 Form for students with more than 90 unit [pdf]
2. Print out a copy of your unofficial transcripts.
3. Prepare a personal statement (if you have more than 90 units).
4. Drop off documents at the Department of Anthropology in 克拉克大厅469. 允许5 - 7 business days for review.
