背景:
灰吕珀西瓦尔 earned his Ph.D. in political science at the University of California, 2005年的河滨. His work focuses on American and California politics, criminal justice policy, and racial and social inequality. He is the author or co-author of three books: Smart on Crime: The Struggle to Build A Better American Penal System (2015), California Politics and Government: A Practical Approach (15ed, 2021), and California’s Recall Election of Gavin lol菠菜网正规平台om: Covid-19 and the Test of Leadership (2022). He is currently working on two primary projects. The first is focused on local prosecutors and their relationship to California's de-incarceration efforts. 第二个, a book-length monograph, investigates fractures within the Democratic Party around criminal justice reform.
